This series of paintings span a two year period of time. I have the great fortune to be able to paint this stunning locale. The winery consists of a old dairy farm and pastures and a working apple orchard and of course the 20 acres of grapes. The scenery is breathtaking, a painting almost every where one looks,truly a very special place

Allthough it can be challenging the rewards are worth it! The colors are subtle for the most part but beautiful just the same. The light can be stunning as it filters down to the ground. The coldest I have painted is +16. But there was no wind.Like the saying goes "it was 110 but it was a dry heat" still cold but manageable
