I am a Plein Aire Painter living in Minneapolis, Minnesota.With the exception of a couple workshops I am self taught.This has allowed me to acquire my own unique way of painting,My brushwork and sense of color are from my heart.I fear that future generations may not have this beautiful landscape to view.Be it a creek that the light hits it just so or a field that intrigues me in its design,I put my soul into each painting knowing that in the future the painting maybe all that remains of the scenes I paint.I paint from nature year round,the seasons offer such change that it is imperative for me to paint them all.Snow is not white but a reflection of sky and earth. magical with the kaleidescope of color. My objective is to find places that when first viewed one feels a sense of calm. I strive to put on canvas the uniqueness of each scene; the color, the light effects, all of the things that come together to inspire me to paint a particular scene.  I Hope you enjoy my work as much as I have had creating it.
